Ka Ora, Ka Ako - Healthy School Lunches

Our school is proud to be part of the Ka Ora, Ka Ako – Healthy School Lunches programme from the Ministry of Education. This means every student receives a free, nutritious lunch each school day, helping them stay full, focused, and ready to learn.

This programme is funded by the New Zealand Government to support healthy eating, student wellbeing, and reduce food insecurity.

Please make sure your child’s details are up to date—especially any allergies or cultural requirements—so we can cater for them properly. You’re still welcome to send your child with their own lunch, but we encourage them to enjoy the meals provided.

Best of all, this programme is completely free—there’s no cost to families and no need to order lunches. You’re always welcome to come in and see what’s on offer!
